New Pre Colombine Archeological Park Opens in Honduras
Cerro Palenque in Honduras is the resting place of the Mesoamerian Lenca tribe. Their history and cultural treasure lie here and now tourists to Honduras and visitors can see them at what will be called the Ruins of Copan Archeological Park.Cerro Palenque is an area of great natural beauty. Anthropologists have mapped out the development of this Lenca park and funding has been assigned from the Copan Valley Archeological Route.
Cultural tourism in Honduras is now expanded with the opening of this park. Cerro Palenque has artifacts fromthe 850-1000 A.D. period on display and items can be seen at the San Pedro de Sula Museum of Anthropology and History.

Cuban airline flying to Tegucigalpa Honduras.
Aerocaribbean airline inaugurated flights between La Habana and Tegucigalpa, Honduras. This airline has flown to Managua, Nicaragua since 2001. Sol y Son Tour Operator of Cuba is in chare of the flights. This will allow ecotourism to develop in Nicaragua and Honduras according to commentators.
